Zevalin, What is this drug for?"Zevalin is indicated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory low grade, follicular, or transformed B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). This indication includes patients with Rituxan (rituximab)-refractory follicular NHL. Zevalin has been approved as part of a therapeutic regimen involving Rituxan."

Ibritumomab Tiuxetan, Use in Children and Elderly,"Children—Studies on this medicine have been done only in adult patients, and there is no specific information comparing use of ibritumomab tiuxetan in children with use in other age groups. Older adults—This medicine has been tested in a limited number of patients 65 years of age or older and has not been shown to cause different side effects or problems in older people than it does in younger adults."

Ibritumomab Injection, Serious WARNING,"A medication used along with this product (rituximab) may infrequently cause serious (sometimes fatal) side effects including severe lung problems (e.g., hypoxia, pulmonary infiltrates, ARDS), heart problems (e.g., cardiogenic shock, MI, ventricular fibrillation), and blood disorders (e.g., cytopenias). These effects, if they occur, usually occur within 30 minutes to 2 hours of receiving the drug."
