Lufylline, How Drug Works, Mythos.com:"Asthma is a disease in which the smooth muscles that line the bronchial tubes to the lungs tighten and spasms, narrowing and even obstructing the airway. Bronchitis causes mucus congestion within the airways and obstructs the flow of air into and out of the lungs. Dyphylline relaxes the smooth muscle of the bronchial tubes and opens the airways of the lungs to make breathing easier. It also dilates blood vessels, which increases the heart rate and stimulates breathing."
